Happy 4th of July

I have always been so thankful for our freedom, I have always been so patriotic, but never as much as I am this year with my sweet boy serving over in Afganistan. I am so proud of him,he is sacrificing his life for other people so they can be free to choose.I Have hanging in my window out front a flag that has a star in the middle and it represents that we have a family member over in war. I never thought one of my children would be fighting in a war.
I will pray every day for his and other service members safe return and constantly thank them for there unselfish service to serve and protect us...
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO!

THIS SONG IS AWESOME ALONG WITH THE VIDEO ENJOY:)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q65KZIqay4EI have been thinking a lot of Jason and all of the other military men and women over in the zone of WAR fighting for your country and how blessed I feel that we still have people in America today that will still fight for our freedom. Please pray for our servicemen and women. I talked to Jason today and he said hes doing good its just crazy over there and wishes he could be home with his family. He is glad to be doing what hes doing its just hard. I miss that boy so much and am just thankful he has family members and friends that are supporting him. Nikki is a good little wife and mother and he couldnt be doing what hes doing if she wasnt such a great support to him, i am so thankful for her.thanks for all your support and keep praying!Love lynda

I told them to sleep with one eye open cuz they don't know when their time is going to come...Payback's are a BLEEP, but they are going to be FUN!!!It makes me feel like were teenagers again lol, only we don't run as fast as we used too!!All in fun! ALL IN FUN!!!!! They did a pretty dang good job!

Sean Survived the TREK!!!!!

Handcart like they had to pull full of supplies!

Sean left on Wednsday the 17th to go on a Pioneer Trek, mimmicking the early days of our pioneers crossing the plains into the promised land. They left at about 5am and went up north for the journey. They are assigned to a family with a ma and pa and around 7-12 kids per family, his ma and pa were Spencer and Natasha Bailey. The first day they hiked 18 miles and didnt arrive to camp until around midnight, the whole 3 days they had to pull a hand cart that weighed around a thousand pounds, it was hard he said, very little food and hardly any rest in the 4 days they were gone they hiked roughly 30 miles. They had to bury a baby like the real pioneers had to do and try to endure all the pioneers had to do. He said it was a very spiritual and humbling experience. to sum it up in a few of his words, "The youth is what really got him through and lots of prayers, he was amazed at how strong the youth were and how much they endured to accom plish this Trek. I am so glad he got to experience this...When Jason was 17 years old he to did this same TREK across the plains, his ma and pa were Amy and Dave Benson, they said he was wonderful and very polite and on one of the rainy days Amy was cold and he gave her his jacket, they square danced, had to kill a chicken and skin it and eat it,he said also that it was a humbling experience! Jason has always been polite to adults and very repectful and I am so very thankful for his example to the younger boys! I am so proud of both of them for going and am looking forward to Taylor and Logan going in four years.

We take for granted all that we have to get through this life, sometimes we forget how blessed we are. I am so going to start counting my many blessings!

The boys and their SWIM_MEET!!!!

We love SWIMMING!!!

This is the 8th year the boys have been on the Surprise Swordfish SWIM-TEEM! This past Saturday on June 6th they had their swim-meet of RELAYS at the Y.M.C.A...They were each in 3 meets, Logan swam the breast stroke, free style and the back stroke, he took 2 second places and a 5th place. Taylor swam the breast stroke, butterfly and the free style and took one 3rd and 2 fourth places! It was so fun to watch them and to see how much they have improved over the last eight years. We have made some great friends and great bonding times through these swim meets. We brave the heat and the crowds, but to tell you the truth I wouldnt change it for anything...I love watching my boys compete in sports,I have to admit I am a little competitive and I sometimes can be one of those parents that asks the REFS if they need glasses or if their blind, but I am working on it, I have gotten better through the years. Thanks BOYS for letting us watch you grow up...
