Our Memorial camping trip or should I say DRIP!

Ok, So I finially said alright I will camp 3 nights the most I have ever gone camping is 2 nights and thats pushing it for me, well I said ok we will go for 3, i packed our clothes,food and camping gear and off we went to the Munds Park area near Flagstaff. It was a beautiful spot,but to start it off we drove in to meet our other friends there (Baileys, Bryces, Farars,Mitchells,Dewsnups,Kelleys,Cowdens) and what happens we get stuck in the mud from all the rain, We finially got free with the help of Darin (thanks) and I think ok that was just a minor set back were all good. Well we start setting up my hotel for the next 4 days and it starts pouring and pouring for hours didnt quit all night long. I still had a good attitude and thought ok tomorrow is another day. We woke up saturday morning and it was beautiful,kids played girls chatted we rode quads I thought ok I am doing this its great, well 4 oclock came and down pour with rain mixed with hail,yes hailing it was cold, kids were thinking it was great,rained again all night we woke up Sunday and it was beautiful sat around and chatted all day, fixed meals and had a potluck dessert night with all the families it was a fantastic day,there were a few sprinkles but nothing to write about lol.We woke up Monday I was sleeping in the car when Sean woke me up cuz I was freezing and I had had it with my deluxe matress pad that wasnt doing its job ,we packed and came home. You know what, we went and had a great time, the rain made it a great memorable experience and I know we will never forget it. The boys had fun quad riding.shooting guns,riding bikes and playing games, it was WONDERFUL and you know what? I think I am going to do it again.... I just need a better matress pad and an umbrella...
